Facebook has a lot of pretty cool features for marketers. Their push to monetize their platform has led them to create a set of tools that are hugely powerful. You just need to know how to use them, right?
Retargetting or (remarketing) is a concept that has some running for cover. It’s actually not that hard to put into practice though and once you do you’ll see a huge increase in engagement and, quite likely if you’ve done it right, sales.
I use retargetting on my landing and squeeze pages. This clever piece of code that you sit in the header of the page captures the Facebook ID of those who visit your site, allowing you to create a custom audience within the Facebook advertising platform and send adverts to those people.
Jon Loomer knows a bit about Facebook and he has created a great post on his site looking at 8 specific strategies you can put into use today.

Hi Rob!
I really liked your idea of a custom audience and I think it can truly be helpful depending on the kind of audience individuals are willing to target as a marketing strategy. I bet not many people saw Facebook the way you have introduced it.
